OSD is a research-driven organization that is aiming for technological
leadership in the main areas that we involve in. A large portion
of the company's sales is attributed to our own research laboratories.
spreading over 500m2 as the R&D center in the city of Shanghai,
and other 1400m2 laboratory located in the plant, OSD's R &
D center has various facilities for supporting new research
projects, including numbers of med-size test labs, reference
library and online computer search links of major University
chemical data bases, The R&D center, manned by 30 qualified
chemists and technicians, has worked to develop innovative process
technologies and environment-friendly processes for classical
and new routes in the field of fine chemicals, intermediates,
bulk actives and finished preparations as well as extraction
of Chinese medicinal herbs to highest quality. The research
center also ties closely with several chemical institutes and
universities and international research laboratories to improve
its abilities and widen the perspective of the research projects
continuously.
With research laboratories, pilot plants, and full-scale
facilities for industrial quantities, OSD has the infrastructure
to produce materials with any desired quantity efficiently
along with Drug Master File. In addition, a strict measures
are taken to ensure expediency, confidentiality and implementation
support.
